Day 19 - October 16th (Day 12 of 65)

Today the sun is out and there is not a cloud in the sky! But it's a Saturday, and the builders don't seem to work on the weekends?

I wonder if it rains on the weekend, if they claim it as a wet day, even though they don't work?

Got some more pictures (click on them for a larger image):

This is bedroom 1 looking out onto the street. Here you can see the area for the three large windows that will be mounted later. It will look similar to this.

This is a panorama of bedroom 2. Here you can see the long frames in the corner that will hold the windows. It will look similar to this.

This is the study. I don't have any photos of this room from the other homes as I haven't seen another Grandview 36 in around 2 years!

This is the family room. Again, whilst not exactly the same (we adjusted the wall on the left of this picture for the home theatre) the rest is much the same. View images of it here and here.

This is the wall in the rumpus room with the four small windows above. you can see what it will look like completed here.

In the home at Northlakes, they had two serving windows. We opted for just one facing the outdoor room. You can see it here . The image attached to the prvios link is actually looking from the outdoor room through this window.

The final picture for today is of the ensuite. What it will end up looking like is pictured here.

The only problem I have seen thus far, is where they have mounted some of the pipe work...I suspect it is supposed to be in the void, next door to the robe..not actually in the robe?? They might end up having to move it like they did here and here (suspect it was found here).

Has anyone else not received any plumbing layout on their Metricon plans? My plumbing plans are very rudimentary, only showing the pipes on the outside of the house, and also another showing how pipes should be laid in the ground. None actually show where they are to be laid?

What's the forecast say today?

Weekends are fine - great for your days off.....  But expect rain during the week ...hmmm :-P.
