" A severe weather warning is current for the possibility of flash flooding late today and tonight."
Sounds good hey?
Here's the forecast for the next week:
Monday Showers. Min 17 Max 22
Tuesday Few showers. Min 18 Max 23 Wednesday Mostly fine, a shower or two. Min 18 Max 24 Thursday Fine. Min 17 Max 26 Friday Mostly fine, late showers. Min 18 Max 26 Saturday Showers. Min 18 Max 23
So it looks like we can rule Monday out as well. We might be lucky on Tuesday. We will have to wait and see...
Took the family to go and see the work that has been completed thus far today. Took this photo...
Thought I'd go through the rest of the house we saw at Northlakes. The introduction to all this started here (in case you missed it).
Below you can see the Rumpus room, which in this home was a bar area for serving guests. They had two wine fridges, a sink as well as some cupboard spaces. This opened up to the outside of the building via some great bifold windows, on both sides of the bar. We loved this idea, but again due to cost, we removed the bar, and only added one of the bifold windows that opens onto the outdoor room. The other window we opted to keep as standard.
This home had an area between the Family room and the bar with seating . I love the four small windows along the wall.
This is the entrance way to the main bedroom. It come off the kitchen.
This is the ensuite that is attached to the main bedroom. The toilet is off to the left.
This home had the large bi-fold doors off the main bedroom, opening to the outdoor room. We are going to get a timber floor in the outdoor area as they have pictured here. Metricon however, do not build this (which is a shame), so we are going to have to get this arranged ourselves after handover.
The outdoor area had a fantastic timber decked area, which we both really loved. A quaint little water feature outside the Rumpus room.
A little space down the side of the home.
Hi Robert
ReplyDeleteThat grandview also convinced us to build a Metricon. We liked the feel of the house, but built a Denver instead.
