Day 14 - October 11th (Day 8 of 65 - inclement weather day 6)

Yes.  It was wet again! Nothing happened at the property as a result.... So let's go through the colours we have chosen! A big hello to Chris and Dale who have been waiting for this post all week. I didn't want to let you down guys!

For the bricks outside the home we decided not to have them rendered over - again, mainly due to the cost (it was going to add another 10-15K!) so plain old brick was chosen. We decided upon the Barclay Blend, partially as we liked the colours it has, and also due to the red it has in it. If the red soil does splash up on it, it "hopefully" won't be seen as easily!

We have chosen to have a colourbond roof. The colour we decided upon was Jasper. We also decided to have the rotary vents and the weatherboard cladding at the front of the home the same colour.

For the gutters, downpipes, windows and rainwater tank, we decided upon Woodland Grey. I'm not sure that the image below reflects the colour that well, but you can see the colour better in the sample below.

The garage door we decided upon is to be Cedar Colourgrain, which for some reason I thought was a little more red than this....

Hopefully not too many more rainy days...
