Today it looks like the electricians got the cable through. I was thinking, that the only way I could see that they'd be able to get it through was if the went into the room next door and cut the plasterboard to access the cable.
I went inside and noted that there was a plank against the wall. Interested I moved it along, and found that they had in fact cut the plasterboard. Well at least now the problem is resolved! They just need to replaster the hole now.
The tiles arrived onsite today as well as all the cabinetry. It's looking really good. My wife was wanting to have different coloured cabinets up high in the kitchen, but I am glad from looking at it now, that we didn't go this way.
They also started adding the beading? around the windows frames today, as well as adding the doors in the rooms, and shelving in the walk in robe in the master bedroom.
It poured down with rain just after we left. You can see clouds in this first photo.

I'll be interested to see how they go tomorrow. I suspect we will be locked out soon enough, but until that time, it's great to see the progress being made.
Looking really good. I think we have similar coloured cabinetry.
ReplyDeleteWhat colour is your garage door?
Hi Shayne,
ReplyDeleteWe choose Cedar Colourgrain. I think its a little more Red than what you would expect from Cedar however? It is exactly the colour I wanted though.
Its hard to see the colour from the distance in the photo but it definitely compliments the rest of the house.
ReplyDeleteWhat colour is the cabinetry?
