Day 64 - November 30th

Well there goes another month. And with it my moustache that I have been growing for our Movember cause we have at our work place. We have managed to get $725, which I reckon was a pretty good effort!

This is the crew from work who joined in. Someone's Mo hair fell out two days before it was due to end...I suspect the wife had something to do with it?? Anyway..They got out a Nikko pen and drew it back on him!!

Today they finished off all the edging in the house. About the only areas they still need to do are the areas where the plasterboard needs to be repaired.

The bath tiles have had the grout added to them today.

And the door frames have been added throughout the house.

As well as the skirting.

The doors to my study were added today as well.

The doors slide in and out of the wall space

The grouting was done in the shower today as well.

Ah huh! The Manhole!!

Not much has changed outside....

These are the last of the photos we took from Upper Coomera. They are of the Grandview24 that they had on display. The house is very nice, but I'm not sure that I would have bought it based on this home. The layout is totally different!! It is nothing like the layout you see on any of the designs of the Grandview on their website? It is much more like the layout you can see on the video that Metricon have of the Grandview on youtube.... That's not to say it isn't great! It's just not what I like. I love the Grandview layout we are building. It's much more in keeping with what we want.

Day 63 - November 29th

Got out to the property rather late today. The tilers have been busy at work getting the showers completed, along with the lower areas around the walls, in the bathroom and water closet done.

On the weekend we also visited the Display Centre at Upper Coomera.and saw the Newhaven and the Grandview.

The Newhaven was great. It was laid out very well, and had a really good looking water feature running through it. These are the pictures we took of the Newhaven...
