Well Handover is getting closer. I hope I can get the internet sorted out asap after we move in..I sort of live on it! Lucky I have a Netcomm 3G Card..Just need to find the charger!! Thought some of you might be interested in our current abode... ;->
No one at the property again today....ah well...
Don't count on it being an immediate connection. Whoever you go with, they will need to connect the lead in cable from the front of the property to the nearest connection box. Being a new estate, you might have to check they have enabled boradband in the area. Of the friends I know who have built in new estate, have always had problems getting boradband internet for years, just because Telstra or the developers were too lazy to lay the cables when they first developed the estate. I hope for your sake, that is not the case, but at least you can use 3G in the meanwhile.
ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for my connection to be made. I live in an existing estate and know there is broadband here. I'm relying on prepaid 3G internet, which seems to be working fine. I'm thinking of staying on it, as I really don't need a telephone line, as we have mobiles phones we can use.
Yeah.. I bought this:
