The final invoice arrived today. It contained a letter from Metricon's accounts department with details on the amount outstanding, a final statement and a tax invoice.
Interestingly, there was also a letter attached from our site supervisor. It laid out the final details that need to be organised before handover (e.g. Bank inspection), and many of the details we will need to organise after handover. For example, electrical, telephone, insurance, gas and wheelie bins. It was great to see this, as it gives one a great guide to getting everything set up for the final handover. Another thumbs up for Metricon.
When you get finance from a bank, you may also need to write a letter of satisfaction, as well as attaching evidence of home insurance. This was also completed tonight ready to fax to them tomorrow. I'll be interested to see how long it takes the bank to go out and visit the property??
